A Lexus ad on Zillow?

Zillow has made it clear they’re a media site, and that they make money exactly like other media sites do — through advertising. Much of the advertising on Zillow looks like this:
For the first time today, however, I saw an ad that looked like this:
If non-real-estate-related advertisers like Lexus are buying ads on Zillow, that can only mean they’re reaching a pretty broad audience, and perhaps a fairly affluent one at that.

An interesting statistic that reflects the spending power of Zillow’s audience is that 86% of Zillow users own their own home. U.S. home ownership is 69% according to the U.S. Census, so we’re skewing toward homeowners - who I assume have a greater net worth than renters on average.
