		<description>People in distress often have weird motives. I was working with some people who were going through a divorce, he didn&#039;t want the divorce and she did. They had lots of equity, and could have sold their house and netted some $$$, but in his eyes selling the house would take away any chance of saving their marriage. So even the best option, isn&#039;t what they will select. Good Post with great details.</description>

		<description>I am so glad to see someone address the &quot;problems&quot; of today. Even some of the people who took out loans 4 to 5 years ago are getting hit!  New guidelines make it hard for them to refi and they are stuck with the payment on their newly adjusted loans!  Thank you for such a clear and straightforward article.</description>

		<description>Ouch is right about that story. It seems more than a little ironic that the monthly cost of owning a home is going up just as home values are dropping. Quite unfortunate for homeowners in this situation, though.

Good post, though. It&#039;s usually best for homeowners to try a forbearance agreement or mortgage modification first before going on to other options. If they can repair the situation with the current lender, they can save quite a bit on the related foreclosure costs or costs to sell, get a new loan, etc.</description>
