Just like it’s a good idea to occasionally Google your name to find out what’s out there about you, it’s also a good idea to Google-Image yourself to see what the Internets think you look like.
A search for “Kevin Boer at Google Images reveals the following correct, if unflattering, picture:
“Correct” in the sense that this picture is actually of me. Right next to me is a far more flattering picture, this time of my twin Kris Berg.
To me, it’s obvious how Google got us mixed up: We have the same initials, and the same color hair. It’s a generally accepted maxim, however, that Kris is far better looking than I, but then again I have a special talent of being able to pick up practically anything off the floor with my toes (it’s true — ask my wife), so in my opinion, Kris and I are still equal.
Further down the page, Google Images has confused me for:
- A Trulia marker man
-
Drew Meyers of Zillow
- Athol Kay
- The Sellsius-mobile
- A Jack-o-lantern
Nothing personal Trulia, Drew, or Athol — but I’d rather be mistaken for Kris.
