This week’s Carnival of Real Estate results are in over at Bloodhound Realty’s Blog. Greg and Cathy Swann did a stellar job of sorting through 43 entries and coming up with one clear winner, Bryant Tutas of Poinciana, FL, whose post did a great job of explaining concept that’s unfamiliar to most of us Bay Area realtors: range pricing.
Our MLS only has one listing price field. As I understand it, other MLS’s, including presumably Bryant’s, allow the realtor to put in not only the listing price, but also the “minimum price” considered in an offer, resulting in a price range. Bryant’s explanation is that this feature may attract more buyers than would otherwise notice a particular listing.
Great job, Bryant!
