After lunch with some friends at Microsoft, I had the pleasure of meeting the other Grand Dame of Seattle real estate — Ardell Dellaloggia, and her business partner Kim Harris. “A quick coffee” turned into a highly entertaining and informative 2-hour discussion on anything and everything real-estate and blogging-related. Ardell’s laugh is kind of like her writing — entertaining, utterly delightful, and contagious. We were fortunate to have Marie Hagman, Redfin’s new Seattle home-blogger-in-chief, join us for some 45 minutes. Judging by her energy, spirit, and zest for real estate, I can’t wait to read what she and her team will be coming up with.

�Good news, your equity line and business line of credit rates remain the same as yesterday, as the Fed held short-term rates steady today. Why? Because despite unemployment concerns, the economy is doing fine (1.4% growth year to date-- thank you exports!), core inflation is under control at this point, gas prices have dropped over 6% recently and it's more prudent to maintain a steady helm when the economy appears relatively balanced. It was a pleasure, Kevin. Glad you had a chance to squeeze us in on your whirlwind tour of Seattle. Marie is a PEACH!! Thank you for introducing us to her…I clearly look forward to chatting with her again and trying that Torte she was raving about…but that they didn’t have today. We’re going back…Marie and I that is, with advance notice to have that pastry on hand.
We met at Hoffman’s Bakery in Park Place-Kirkland. Marie was picking up a cake for the Redfin Bloggers.
Kevin-deprogram-perhaps we can all move a little more towards “center”.
